Deaf Awareness Week
Every year the UK Council on Deafness run the Deaf Awareness Week campaign in which many organisations work together to raise awareness of hearing loss.
As part of Deaf Awareness Week Sonetik will be posting a series of messages to help raise awareness of age-related hearing loss and associated symptoms. Some of these include changes in attitudes, effects on friends and their families and difficulties in various social situations.
The series will also include messages about various conditions that can affect hearing loss, now or in the future, and the benefits of having a regular FREE hearing check at LloydsPharmacy.
